| Description of Work | Homelessness Prevention Manager will support the planning, launch, implementation, and ongoing operation of Nebraska’s Right at Home homelessness prevention initiative. The position will coordinate project timelines, provider readiness, community based service HUB technical assistance, service coordination, collaborate on HMIS operational workflows, payment processing via external common fund holder, evaluation support, and supervision of assigned Right at Home staff. The position will work with UNL-CCFL Community Services leadership, Continuum of Care partners, participating HUBs, HMIS and Coordinated Entry staff, the Common Fund Holder, public-sector and philanthropic partners, Right at Home technical assistance partners, and evaluation partners. The position requires practical planning ability, disciplined follow-through, strong communication, careful documentation, and professional judgment in a complex, multi-partner implementation environment. Ideal Candidate: The position requires a person who can support practical planning, advance implementation in a timely manner, and work effectively with senior leaders, funders, researchers, public officials, providers, HUB staff, and community partners. The candidate must understand the difference between coordination and decision-making authority, recognize when a question can be resolved operationally, and know when an issue must be elevated to CCFL Community Services leadership or other formal decision-makers. |
