| Description of Work | The Catering Prep Chef/Driver is an integral member of the catering team. This position will assist the entire Catering department. In this role you will:
Schedule varies and includes early morning, evenings, late night, and weekend shifts. | Minimum Required Qualifications | 8th grade education and 3 years of driving with the ability to drive a box truck; equivalent education/experience considered. Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Flexibility, reliability, ability to communicate and be a team player essential. Accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of individuals. Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirement and the ability to pass a DMV check authorizing them to operate university vehicles. Food Handlers Permit or ability to obtain upon employment required. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Experience driving a box truck. Experience working in a fast paced ever changing environment. Knowledge of University operations. |
