| Description of Work | The Assistant Project Editor, Journals, has the primary responsibility of coordinating all phases of journals workflow—including editorial, production, and manufacture, ensuring timely production of high-quality journals. The Assistant Project Editor is required to prioritize work appropriately and meet steady turnaround demands while maintaining high-quality standards for publications with minimal supervision. This position will maintain continuous communication with journal editors, freelancers, print vendors, and internal staff members and will supervise student interns. This position may be considered for remote work in accordance with the University of Nebraska’s Alternative Worksite program.
