Description of Work
The Nebraska Unions Food Commons features a variety of dining options, including local favorites such as Valentino’s and Imperial Palace, as well as popular concepts like Sossy’s BBQ, Husker Hero’s, and Choolaah. We are seeking a Dining Team Member to maintain daily operations of one of these dining concepts while helping deliver an outstanding guest experience.

As a Dining Team Member, you will:

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests
  • Process customer orders accurately using the POS system
  • Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and customer requests
  • Fulfill mobile and in-store orders efficiently
  • Stock front-of-house and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare ingredients and assist with inventory management
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
Schedule varies and includes evenings, late nights, and weekend shifts.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered
  • Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary
