Description of Work
The Digital Marketing Specialist executes Nebraska Public Media’s digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, and audience targeting platforms. Reporting to the Marketing & Audience Development Manager, this position implements approved campaign strategies, manages the Google Ad Grant program, builds and monitors paid campaigns, and leads digital promotional execution for assigned initiatives.

This role focuses on tactical campaign execution, paid media management, digital advertising operations, performance tracking, and coordination of promotional deliverables to support goals of the Communications & Engagement Department and overall strategic priorities.

Nebraska Public Media offers a full spectrum of communications services to the citizens of Nebraska. Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience building and managing paid search, paid social, or programmatic advertising campaigns.
  • Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience using digital analytics tools to monitor and evaluate campaign performance.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of SEO and retargeting.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing a Google Ad Grant account.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms such as StackAdapt.
  • Experience in public media or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience with the Google for Nonprofits program.
  • Knowledge of media industry.
  • Relationship-based service/marketing experience.
  • Proficiency with social media business tools.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, Google Search Console, paid search, and email marketing.
