| Description of Work | The Journals Systems & Fulfillment Associate is housed in the Digital Assets & IT department and reports to the Manager of Digital Assets & IT. The position serves as a cross-functional operational resource for the Press with primary responsibility for journals systems management, fulfillment coordination, and external partner alignment. This role works at the intersection of journals support, platform-based workflow administration, and digital operations. The position coordinates journals systems and fulfillment workflows in THINK and related platforms; maintains accurate records; supports troubleshooting and exception handling; documents procedures; and works with internal staff and external partners to support smooth journals operations. The role collaborates closely with MPS/HighWire, journals project editors, the marketing team, business operations, and other Press staff to help ensure accurate, timely, and responsive service for subscribers, editors, sponsoring organizations, and internal stakeholders. In addition to its journals responsibilities, the position provides secondary support for other cross-functional DAMIT operational needs as assigned. This may include ebook remediation, metadata or file cleanup, reporting support, workflow documentation, testing support, and related project work that helps align journals operations with the Press’s digital systems environment.
