| Description of Work | The Program Coordinator plays a key role in advancing student career readiness, leadership development, and employer engagement within University Career Services at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This position coordinates the JoAnn Martin Leadership Academy, a high-impact leadership development program that strengthens students’ leadership skills, business knowledge, and career readiness. Responsibilities include managing program logistics, securing guest speakers, shaping the student experience, and assessing outcomes. In addition, the coordinator develops and maintains employer partnerships to expand internship and employment opportunities and plans and supports employer-facing programs and events that connect students with industry professionals. The position also provides career and strengths coaching and facilitates workshops to support students in achieving their professional goals, helping them develop their strengths, internship and job search strategies, professional application materials, and the confidence to navigate career pathways. The Program Coordinator collaborates across campus and with external partners to ensure relevant and impactful career readiness experiences.
