| Description of Work | Sponsored Programs Post-Award Specialist II At the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, research and innovation drive discoveries that expand knowledge, fuel economic development and solve real-world problems. The Office of Sponsored Programs supports the UNL community in securing and managing external funding for research, creative, and scholarly activities. The Post-Award Team oversees the final phases of the grant lifecycle, ensuring effective financial and administrative management, regulatory compliance, and responsible stewardship of funds enabling researchers to focus on their research. As a Post Award Specialist II, you will: Support research by providing post-award grant management and financial guidance

Ideal Candidate Statement The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and consistently accurate in transactional work, including account setup and data manipulation. They bring strong organizational and communication skills, and are able to manage and prioritize tasks effectively throughout a project timeline. They have a solid understanding of federal regulations such as Uniform Guidance and FAR clauses. Proficiency with enterprise systems like SAP and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a university research environment are key to success in this role. |
