Description of Work
This position will be responsible for managing the concierge visit services for personalized group visits and managing all other group and daily visits. This position will manage pre-visit tasks, daily logistics, program execution, follow up, and evaluation. This position will also create process to connecting Nebraska staff, current student tour guides, and off campus stakeholders for seamless visits. Will support Office of Admissions to create visitor experiences with special population yield activities. Position will manage the Visit Support Center, providing on site support to the center and manage customer interactions and inquiries by phone, email, and in-person contact. This position pays a key part of managing group visits, coordinating individual and group presentations for prospective students and parents/. Position may serve as backup for events staff for large outreach, recruitment and admission related events. Position requires many nights and weekend hours.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience within undergraduate recruitment; or relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Public speaking experience
  • Ability to handle numerous projects and details simultaneously and accurately
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software and information systems
  • Customer service experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and with little or no supervision
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with UNL.
  • Event coordination experience
