Description of Work
The Dining Associate performs tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center.

As a Dining Associate you will:
  • Set up and tear down stations.
  • Perform kitchen duties: cooking, re-stocking, recipe/ingredient preparation, inventory, dish machine operation, and cleaning.
  • Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste.
  • Train employees and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operates the computer for some training, email, ESS, and other related tasks.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered.
  • Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary.
  • Flexibility, ability to communicate and being a team player essential.
  • Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. No
