As a Chick-fil-A Shift Lead you will:
  • Serve as a member of the management team by providing leadership, direction and supervision to Team Members during their shift and ensuring a high – quality experience for guests.
  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership:
    • By delegating shift duty assignments to staff/students.
    • Oversee front end and back of restaurant operations.
    • Ensure products and ingredients are stocked and available based on forecasting.
    • Training new team members.
    • Ensure presentation, quality, and food standards are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guest through front end and back-end operations which may include:
    • Greeting all guests in a friendly manner and addressing guest concerns
    • Accurately entering orders into the POS system and cashier duties
    • Food preparation and monitoring food quality and safety
    • Front end and kitchen stocking
    • Ingredient preparation
    • Inventory, dish machine operation, cleaning duties, opening, and closing procedures.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED plus three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered.
  • Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary.
  • The ability to communicate is essential.
  • Must have the ability to train and lead others.
  • Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualification is preferred but not required:
  • Supervisory experience.
