Description of Work
  • Full-time Temp in-office position
  • Serve as the point of contact/resource for campus unit HR/Payroll staff to resolve issues and answer questions in person and over the phone
  • Review hiring documents, federal/ state forms (I-9, W-4, W-4N, etc.) Personnel Data Form ( PDF) for proper completion and compliance with federal/state laws and regulations
  • Complete complex entry of payroll transactions into the university payroll system
  • Review entries performed by campus units for completeness and accuracy
  • Office tasks such as: Answering phones, emails, data entry, running reports
  • Assisting Departments with payroll questions
  • Entering Separation Employment Actions
  • Entering New Hire Actions for Students, Temps and On-Call appointments
  • W2’s between the dates of January and April

Minimum Required Qualifications
Associates or equivalent education/experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary. Problem solving and ability to work as a team member and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP and the University.
