Position Summary: The Digital Products Project Manager is responsible for enabling the successful delivery of digital and online banking products and initiatives through a combination of project management, agile delivery, and team facilitation practices. This role supports both defined projects with clear scope and constraints and ongoing product‑based, iterative development work. Situated within a product team, this role partners closely with Product Managers, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure work is prioritized, transparent, and aligned to business and customer outcomes. The Project Manager focuses on flow, team effectiveness, and value delivery, while ensuring appropriate governance, risk management, and organizational standards are met.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and facilitate delivery of work across both project‑based and product‑based initiatives, including digital and online banking solutions.
  • Serve as an agile leader for assigned product teams by guiding and coaching teams on agile values, principles, and practices to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies and activities, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
  • Partner with Product Manager to support backlog readiness, prioritization, and alignment to customer and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate day‑to‑day coordination of work while adhering to organizational standards, sponsor expectations, and product delivery goals.
  • Identify, track, and help remove impediments impacting team delivery; proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Promote transparency through appropriate status reporting, metrics, and visual management of work.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on agile mindset shifts, including incremental delivery, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Support decision‑making by working with Scrum Teams and internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and enable effective trade‑offs.
  • Manage projects or initiatives that require defined timelines, scope, and constraints, ensuring delivery within agreed‑upon parameters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, technology teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Champion adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices across digital product teams.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent experience in project management, product delivery, or technology.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a project management, product delivery, or agile delivery role preferred.
  • Experience working on or leading agile teams.
  • Experience facilitating cross‑functional teams and building productive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and understanding of software development life cycle models.
  • Working knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to apply them appropriately in an agile or hybrid environment.

Working Environment:

  • Indoor work environment; not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

  • This role is eligible for a hybrid work‑from‑home opportunity in accordance with work‑from‑home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
