Position Summary: The Union Title Company’s Receptionist is responsible for administrative support duties, which include answering the phone, directing calls to appropriate associates, greeting and assisting customers along with distributing and processing daily mail.
Essential Functions:
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls to appropriate associates. Greet and assist customers.
- Maintain conference room, calendar, and coffee bar.
- Distribute and process daily mail and prepare pickup courier orders.
- Distributes “For Sale by Owner” packets upon request.
- Receive title and closing orders, performs data entry, and prepares title files for department associates.
- Performs data entry and sets up file for escrow accounts. Track all out-of-county orders.
- Monitor stock of office supply items and place orders as needed.
- Assist with marketing events and social media.
- Understand and adhere to all Union Title policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in Union Title policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other company software.
- Understanding of title insurance and escrow accounts preferred.

Working Environment:
Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
