We are hiring a highly skilled full-time 1st Shift CNC Machinist with proven experience to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of machining experience required.
- Technical college or trade school education in machining or a related field preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in the setup and operation of CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
- CNC programming experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating manual equipment such as saws, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of part quality standards and inspection processes.
- Ability to accurately measure and verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a production environment.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
