Job overview
As a Senior ERP Programmer, you’ll be at the heart of our technology operations, managing and enhancing our PICK database and programming systems that support Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) applications. From developing new modules to ensuring seamless software integration and safeguarding data security, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our business.
Here are the specifics:
- Program Development and Maintenance
- Make moderate to major changes to existing business relevant applications, and changes to existing business important applications.
- Develop new major business relevant applications, moderate business important applications, and minor business critical applications.
- Create and validate advanced test cases and testing methodologies.
- System Optimization and Process Improvement
- Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Recommend improvements to guidelines, standards, and the SDLC process.
- Review and provide feedback on specifications, requirements, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure programs and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Data and Security Management
- Maintain enterprise-level security protocols and safeguard company data.

Work Environment
- Ability to rarely lift and carry <25 lbs. and rarely push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Constant sitting or standing per desk preference.
- Work may be performed in a home office setting.
- Rare bending/reaching, twisting.
- Frequent pinching, grasping, fine manipulation with fingers to use computer and phone.
- Heated and air-conditioned indoor work.
What you’ll need to succeed in this position:
- Extensive experience in PICK programming.
- Strong experience with Horizon, Accuterm, and ConnectShip applications.
- SAP knowledge—Production and Logistics modules strongly preferred.
- Broad understanding of IT systems, networks, and integrations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to independently handle complex assignments.
- Strong technical and business acumen.
- Customer-oriented approach and high level of initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in similar ERP/SAP roles or SAP consulting with project management exposure.

- Experience for several years in a similar position or consulting background with project management experience.
