Do you enjoy creating great customer experiences, staying organized, and being part of a lively summer atmosphere? We are looking for a seasonal Aquatics Concession Manager to join the Parks and Recreations team to help keep our swimming pool concession stands running smoothly and our patrons happily fueled for fun in the sun while keeping cool at the pools!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assisting the Pool Manager with training, scheduling, and supervising staff
  • Supporting a diverse team cashier and concession staff
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy and customer friendly concession operation.
  • Ordering concession supplies
  • Balancing and depositing daily receipts
  • Serving as a positive role model and leader
  • Keeping the Snacks Flowing & the Smiles Coming!

What We're Looking For:
  • Leadership, organizational, and communications skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Attention to detail, especially with cash handling and inventory
Compensation and Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour. Pay is issued by direct deposit only. Candidates must have a valid bank account registered in their name in order to receive wages. *This is an unclassified (seasonal) position and not eligible for benefits.

Schedule: Variable hours between 11:00 am – 8:30 pm daily with some evening hours. Approximately 30-40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older prior to May 23, 2026
  • Must obtain Food Handlers Permit once hired

The Parks and Recreation department is FUNdamental to Lincoln.

Our team manages 168 parks, 185.9 miles of trails, 97 playgrounds, over 83,000 street trees, nine public pools, six recreation centers, five golf (and disc golf) courses, five dog runs, a nature center, and beautiful public gardens. Our programs include recreation summer day camps, before and after school programs, clubs and classes for individuals with special needs, adult and youth team sports, nature-based classes and events, swimming lessons, wellness and fitness classes for all ages, and a variety of free events and classes for all ages.
