We’re partnering with a well-established Nebraska organization with a long history of supporting the region’s construction and infrastructure industries. They are adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to their accounting team to support a large, high-volume operating division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process and review vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accounts payable records and supporting documentation
• Generate AP reports and assist with tracking payables activity
• Support month-end close processes and account analysis
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth payment processing
• Assist with special accounting projects and other duties as needed

What They’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Around 2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Solid computer skills including spreadsheets and accounting systems
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
