Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to oversee and execute all activities of the dock, ensuring safe, accurate and efficient loading of all delivery transports to fulfill customer orders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure accurate and efficient loading of transports to be delivered to customer accounts
  • Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations
  • Store product and follow established rotation procedures
  • Responsible for product add on/off load changes for delivery routes
  • Replenish product on pallets and rollers in pick locations which includes forking down product
  • Count and verify incoming product from daily routes as needed
  • Receive, unload, consolidate and re-stock returned product and shells
  • Load transports for delivery to customer accounts
  • Manage and build pick ticket orders as needed
  • Receive and distribute incoming FedEx and UPS shipments as needed
  • Perform end of night duties
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Sufficient formal or informal education to insure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance
  • A valid pallet jack certification
  • A valid forklift certification
  • Ability to provide attention to detail
  • Proper lifting techniques

Working Environment

Work generally takes place in a warehouse setting. Exposure to hot indoor temperatures during summer months. Long and irregular hours during peak seasons
