SUMMARY:

Performs building maintenance and repairs and executes facility improvement projects.

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt

  • Support overall sustainment of industrial facility and grounds through preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Ability to self-direct and drive projects to completion with support from leadership
  • Maintains building, performing painting, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Maintenance of building and grounds including painting, cleaning, repairs, upgrades, or other maintenance related activities.
  • Performs drywall, trim, door, and plumbing repairs.
  • Installs hardware in manufacturing and office environments.
  • Manages materials and timeline for improvement projects.
  • Communicates with leaders of production areas to coordinate downtime for project execution.
  • Responds to emergent requests for repairs.
  • Helps create an efficient manufacturing facility by sweeping, removing trash, and cleaning debris
  • Performs major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment and works with management to develop project plans.
  • Could potentially encounter hazardous chemicals.
  • Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities.
  • Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

  • Reports to: Facilities Team Leader

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

Expected: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

Industrial construction experience preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
