Kawasaki Rail Car Lincoln, Inc. seeks full-time CDL Driver for our Rail Car manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced environment, demonstrate ability to follow directions and be self-motivated. Candidates with six months experience in the following areas will be considered: CDL Certification
Starting Pay: $25.30/per hour
Available Shifts:
- 1st: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Required Qualifications for CDL Driver:
- CDL Certified for a minimum of 6 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing / Production
Responsibilities of CDL Driver:
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle before and after trips
- Cargo Handling and Securement: Load and unload cargo safely, properly secure materials to prevent damage during transit
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption and cargo details
- Route Planning and Navigation: Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Communication: Communicate effectively with appropriate people about schedules, delivery status, delays or issues
