| Description of Work | The College of Education at Doane University invites applicants for a 12-month, full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position. This is a hybrid position, allowing work from a home office and shared time between our Lincoln and Crete campuses. The PIVOT (Paraprofessional Intensive Vocational Onramp to Teaching) Project Coordinator provides overall coordination of the project and all project activities. The coordinator collaborates with external project partners and internal key personnel and stakeholders to ensure the achievement of project goals and objectives. The grant-funded faculty member and project coordinator provides crucial expertise to the FIPSE PIVOT program and expands Doane University’s capacity to offer high-quality, short-term programs to train paraprofessionals to work in the nation’s K-12 schools and enable teachers to earn a credential in “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for K-12 Teaching.” Primary responsibilities for this 12-month faculty position include teaching in the undergraduate and graduate educator preparation programs. This position is part of the College of Education. The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Director, the Dean of the College of Education. Responsibilities include:
This position is funded in whole or in part by external grant funding.
