In this role, you’ll be responsible for preventing, treating, and rehabilitating injuries, ensuring the health and well-being of student-athletes. FLSA	Salaried (Exempt)
Salary	Commensurate with experience, with a starting salary of $40,000
Minimum Required Qualifications	Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Athletic Training. Proven record of integrity, high principles and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student-athletes academically and athletically. Experience must demonstrate: Skill in efficiently evaluating, rehabilitation, educating & revising a plan of care based on the needs of the student-athletes. Skill in organizing work, setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines & following up on assignments with a minimum of direction. Ability to communicate to give adequate directions & instructions to athletes & students. Understanding & ability to update, enter & monitor the Pyra-MED system. Skill in communicating clearly & effectively, orally & in writing Ability to work collaboratively with a broad & diverse population of students, families, peers & colleagues. Flexibility & patience as interruptions of work are routine. Must be self-motivated & able to complete job assignments without direct supervision. Ability to stand for long periods of time & walk long distances, as well as good mobility skills. Knowledge of computer hardware equipment & software applications relevant to work functions.
Preferred Qualifications	Master’s degree
Required Licenses/Certifications	A valid Nebraska driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the college’s automobile insurance provider is required. Proof of valid NATABOC certification. State of Nebraska athletic trainer licensure or eligible for State of Nebraska licensure. First aid and CPR certification.

Working Conditions	This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, along with frequent travel to accommodate game and tournament schedules.
